Negombo, Thursday 21st February 2019: Quantum Fitness, the pioneers in marketing quality fitness equipment in Sri Lanka, opened its latest showroom at the bustling Western Province suburb, Negombo today. The opening took place under the patronage of the Chairman of Quantum Fitness, Nomal Wijeyaratne, CEO Chandima Udabage and Assistant General Manager of Sales &Marketing, Thushara Kumarasinghe.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Chairman of Quantum Fitness, Nomal Wijeyaratne said, “We are proud to unveil the latest showroom in a line of Quantum Fitness stores that we have planned for this year. We have identified strategic areas around the island and also want to feed the growing trend for healthy living in Sri Lanka”.
“Negombo is a major city in the Western province and also has a considerable expatriate population. It is also a buzzing tourist destination with its close proximity to the international airport. A lot of hotels and resorts already exist in the area and many more are coming up. We hope to therefore cater to both corporate and home-use clients in the area”, added CEO ChandimaUdabage.
Following religious observances, the branch located at 159 Chilaw Road, Periyamulla, Negombo was declared open to the public. The location itself is a convenient one with ample parking.
The Negombo outlet will stock the full gamut of Quantum Fitness products including cardiovascular and strength training machines along with commercial fitness equipment for hotels and gyms. The branch will be open from 9am to 7pm (weekdays) and 9am to 5pm (weekends). Quantum Fitness is due to open its next branch in gem country, Ratnapura.
